Pours a golden orange color with a thick white head. Real sweet smelling malts, piney hops, and an oily hop resin smell on the end. Very strong oily hop resin up front, sweet caramel malts, and a smooth, sticky pine flavor on the end. Aftertaste is of sweetened, sticky pine. This is one potent beer that doesn’t shy away from taking a risk. The hop flavors and caramel malts balance each other very well. It isn’t for the faint of heart though. It is ridiculously strong and hits you right in the mouth. Just an excellent Double IPA. 4.75/5
