Pours pitch black with a thick tan head. Smells of roasted malts, espresso, alcohol, and dark chocolate. Big coffee flavors, roasted malts, vanilla, and tons of dark chocolate. Finishes with coffee flavored chocolate and a little smokey roasted malts. This is a very rich, filling stout. It would make a great dessert beer or paired with a piece of cake, just like what I’m doing right now. It also packs a nice little punch with the high ABV it’s sporting. This is just an excellent beer and one I’ll be having again very soon. Great RIS! 5/5
