Pours a deep golden color with a nice thick white head. Has a very sweet hoppy smell. First taste you are hit up front with a pretty intense hop flavor. It’s very light and crisp and lingers on the tongue for several seconds and ends with a sweet malt finish. This is a very good, drinkable beer. It’s got just enough flavor for someone who wants a good craft, but not too much to scare off the novice beer guy. This is one of those you could have several of and it not get old. If you like Sierra Nevada’s Pale Ale, give it a try. It’s almost there with the taste and drinkability and you’re supporting fellow Mississippians and State grads.
